Booking Policies

Thank you for your interest in lodging here at Flying E Ranch! Please review the information below as it is important information related to our lodging and activities here at the ranch.

Activities

Guest horseback rides are scheduled once you are at the ranch. The schedule for the following day is typically completed at dinner time when our barn manager or one of our wranglers will come and discuss riding options. Guests who exceed 250 pounds may have riding limitations. Rides are typically 1.5-2 hours in duration, based on the pace of the horses.

Off-road tours are scheduled based upon request and availability. Rides are typically 2-3 hours long based on your desired location. Rates advertised are generally for a 2-3 hour ride and based per person.

All activities are based on availability of staff, horses, or equipment. For larger groups, please discuss with front office in advance so we may accommodate. Activities are not included in the cost of your lodging.

Check-in/Check-out

Check in time is at/after 3:00PM and check out time is prior to 10:00AM. If you are planning to check in or check out outside of normal business hours (9:00AM – 5:00PM), please inform Flying E Ranch front office to make arrangements. Remaining balance of lodging due at check-in. If a balance is accumulated during your stay (activities, meals, events, etc) remaining balance is due at check-out. Unpaid balances will be charged to card on file with an added 15-20% gratuity for staff. Keys not returned will result in a $25 charge to card on file per key.

Meals

Breakfast is served 7:00AM – 9:30AM. Lunch is served promptly at 12:30PM. Dinner is served promptly at 6:30PM. Meals are served in our dining hall unless otherwise indicated prior to meal. Meals offered are dependent on your individual reservation. Meals must be arranged ahead of time in order for our kitchen staff to accommodate. Adding meals to your reservation must be done in advance and are subject to availability. Customized packages may be created for groups and events.

Payments, Gratuities, and Cancellations

Payment by cash, personal check, Mastercard/Visa, or traveler’s check. 12.47% lodging tax. 8.5% tax on meals, merchandise, and event tickets.

A tip of 15-20% percent is customary and appreciated. A service charge may be included in departure check unless otherwise specified in which a portion is dispersed to working staff.

50% of reservation total is required as deposit to confirm and hold your lodging reservation. If you cancel your reservation more than 14 days of your arrival date, you will receive a refund within 7-10 business days deducted by 10% of your total reservation amount (a minimum of $150 per room is withheld). If you request to cancel your reservation 14 days or less of your arrival date, your deposit and all moneys paid are non-refundable. Merchandise, event tickets, and some activities are non-refundable. Certain dates will have non-refundable deposits such as concert weekends, Cowgirl Weekend, Cattle Drive weekends, and private events. Please ask about the refund policy prior to booking your stay. Reservations booked with a gift certificate will be applied back to the gift certificate if cancellation allows for a refund. Gift certificate funds will not be refunded to cash, card, or check.

Pets

To maintain cleanliness of the property, we have specific rooms pets are allowed in and therefore are subject to room availability and management approval. All pets require a deposit. Pet messes must be cleaned immediately by pet owner. Pets are not permitted in the pool area, dining hall, or near livestock. Pets are expected to not be a nuisance as it pertains to cleanliness, noise, or bothering other guests. Pets are expected to be leashed at all times outside of the room. Pets are to be kenneled in the room when owner is not there. Pets are not permitted on beds, chairs, couches, or other furniture. Pet owner assumes all financial responsibility for disturbances, damage, or injury caused by pet at owner/management discretion. Pets are never allowed at events.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms, swimming pool area, common areas, or near our animals. No exceptions allowed. Guests smoking in their rooms will be charged a cleaning/damage fee to be charged to the card on file.

Swimming Pool & Hot Tub

The swimming pool and hot tub are available 24/7 at your own risk. We do not have a lifeguard. Hot tub control panel is located on the North-facing wall of room #9. A noise limitation may go into effect after 10:00PM based on the occupancy of our nearby rooms. No glass. No smoking. No pets. Children must be accompanies.
